  • Scripting flaws pose severe risk for IE users  - A set of five unpatched scripting vulnerabilities in Internet Explorer creates a mechanism for hackers to compromise targeted PCs.  The vulnerabilities, unearthed by Chinese security researcher Liu Die Yu, enable malicious Web sites and viruses to bypass the security zone settings in IE6. Used in combination, the flaws might be exploited to seize control of vulnerable PCs. Proof of Concept exploits have been released by Liu Die Yu to validate his warnings. Microsoft has yet to patch the flaws. But users can protect themselves against the flaws by disabling active scripting or by using an alternative browser.
  • Chip implant gets cash under your skin - Applied Digital Solutions of Palm Beach, Fla., is hoping that Americans can be persuaded to implant RFID chips under their skin to identify themselves when going to a cash machine or in place of using a credit card. The surgical procedure, which is performed with local anesthetic, embeds a 12-by-2.1mm RFID tag in the flesh of a human arm.
  • Opera Patches Browser Flaws - Opera has released a new version of its Web browser, which closes two security holes that could allow someone to remotely take control of a computer. The new version, released Friday, also incorporates a patch for the OpenSSL protocol, according to developer Opera Software. Versions 7 to 7.22 of the browser for Windows contain both security flaws: using them to visit a specially crafted Web page could allow someone to remotely take control of a computer. The same versions for Linux contain only one of the flaws, a buffer overflow vulnerability. The company recommends upgrading to Version 7.23, according to a note on its Web site.

RE: "Chip implant gets cash under your skin" It doesn't say much for our society. Because of theft and distrust, a chip implant containing a crap load of personal indentification (and other) is needed to prove who we are and what we can do. If thats not scary enough...since the beginning of time, someone will find a way around the system making this version of chip obsolete. It's pointless!

Good points, Bert. Not to mention that this procedure could have some nasty health effects in the long run. Before you let a corporation stick something under your skin, think twice about it...

DUH. Read the bible, this is excaztly what revelations is talking about. For he caused every man rich or poor big or small to take a mark and he who didnt could not buy sell or trade.Dont belive me read it.We are in the last days.I fully belive that.

HEHEHE! I don't think so. The mark you describe is spiritual in nature and reflects a rebellion against God. An ID chip implant doesn't dictate the nature or the heart of the implantee. But if they can't get credit cards, debit cards, ID cards, and other forms of electonic ID to be uncorruptable, how could a chip implant be any different. Watch the government "nickle and dime us" to pay registration fees every year "to change the batteries". Just another cash cow for someone.

Have you even read revelations? When the antichrist comes to power,Which wont be to long from now.Because soon every nation will raise against nation worse then it is now.And there will be a man that will come on to the seen and he will promote peace and eventually will call him self the son of god.He will be given power by Satan to perform miracles and every eye will believe except the people who already know the truth. After he gets every nation to sign the 7 year peace treaty he will tell the world that in order for this to work everyone must receive a mark. And with that mark you will be able to buy, sell and trade.Whoever does not have the mark or refuses will be killed.Read the darn bible if you don't believe me.This digital angel chip is the sign the time is near.Repent Repent and give your self to god.Less you be judged

Also.Whoever takes the mark,The bible says after a while you will develope nasty soars on your skin. You state above and I quote "to change the batteries" This ID chip does not require batteris. It runs on body heat,Did you know the goverment spent billions of dollors on this behind the scenes.Do you know why? To find out what part of the body generates enough electricity to susttain the chip.Turns out its the right hand or your forehead. The bible says that the mark will be your right hand or forehead. Now you might be thinking why my forehead. Not everybody had a right hand! Now back to the soars. The chip will contain some sort of chemical inside. Now they tested this and you can read on digital website. That if you were to somehow break the chip in your hand or forhead that the chemical would leak out casuing really bad soars.I think that what going to happen is.Those who take the mark this will happen after a while. Some sorta defect.
