Max Payne 2 Coming 2005 - briefly

According to

article at Yahoo Financial News, we won't be seeing a sequel to Max Payne
until the first half of 2005 :-( (big thanks

Take-Two's Rockstar unit is working on 10 new games, only two of which have been announced, Lapin says. They are "Manhunt," an action game akin to the movie "The Fugitive," and "The Warriors," a gang drama based on the 1979 movie. "Manhunt" is set for release in October and "The Warriors" and a "Max Payne" sequel are due out in the first half of 2005.

What im sayin is a GANG v GANG game as in GTA2 but in 3D GTA VC style ! how about that, u choose which gang u want 2 b apart of and u try to control the city by pushing the other gangs out of the city !
Here's a short discription of a scene in the game, u get 2 choose a few gang members from ur crew to walk with u where every u go in the city, (or u can go it alone). Here u can choose what type of thug u want 2 back u up, such as a 20stone 6ft5 muscle FREAK (and choose what weapon he can have) with a choice of weapons like AK47, double uzi, glock, bat ETC as with other crew members backing u up.
U go around the city with maximum of 3 crew with u, imagine seeing other gang members doing deals on the street, pimpin, robbing, burglarising, or other typical task as getting some HOOCH from the local 711, then u and ur crew barge in the 711 and take him out with produce and products on the shelf flying everywhere and ur crew try and nail HIM ! :) call it GTA GANGS ! :) |

I liked Max Payne but I fail to see what Part Deux could add to it, aside from a new story. The big deal with the original was bullet time and that's kind of been done to death by now, and aside from that Max Payne was just another pretty 3rd person shooter like the rest. |
