At the plate, players bat from the usual third-person perspective we've seen in many baseball games, directly behind home plate. An outline of the strike zone is visible to the batter, as is a crosshair used to aim the swing. Before the pitch, the batter can adjust a slider which determines whether he's hitting for contact or for power. Once the pitch is thrown, the batter can follow the flight of the ball, adjust the aim of his crosshair, and swing away.
