  • Clonaid Has 2,000 on Cloning List, Founder Says - The founder of the Raelian religion whose adherents claim to have cloned a human said a company he created has 2,000 people waiting to have themselves or a loved one cloned, a newspaper reported Monday. Claude Vorilhon, a French native know as Rael to his followers who founded Clonaid in 1997, said in an hour-long interview Sunday in Miami that the company has a list of people willing to pay $200,000 each for cloning, the Miami Herald reported.

  • Europe To Publishers: Rate Or Die - The Interactive Software Federation of Europe (ISFE) announced that all video games published in European Union countries will carry unified ratings beginning in April of next year. The ISFE, the Euro equivalent of the IDSA video game trade organization, will govern the ratings, which will supercede the rating systems each individual European country has right now.
  • NVIDIA to Announce NV31 at CeBIT - Also Xbit-Labs have confirmed that the Santa Clara, California-based company will unveil its code-named NV31 VPU at CeBIT in Hannover, Germany. The NV31 is expected to utilise numerous technologies introduced in the GeForce FX VPU and also offer comparable performance to the GeForce4 Ti4600, but with possible improvements in antialiasing and anisotropic filtering speed. Generally speaking, the NV31 code-named products will compete with the RADEON 9500 PRO and 9700-based solutions, so, it is very logically for them to be cheap enough.
  • Two CPUs in One? - Hyperthreading enables one processor to act like two. As a result, it can simultaneously tackle multiple applications (or a single application that has multiple threads), put idle CPU cycles to use, and boost system performance by up to 25 percent--all without requiring specially written applications, according to Intel. Sounds good, doesn't it?

Now, it is simply a must have for me and according to the forum, for many other people, too. It enables you to change the sign-on message text & color, GPU & memory clocks, hidden features like SBA (Side Band Addressing) and much more. This new version added support for GeForce 4 Ti 4200 Bioses with AGP8x.
