  • Google excluding controversial sites  - The search engine quietly deletes more than 100 controversial sites from some search result listings, including sites that are anti-Semitic, pro-Nazi, or related to white supremacy.
  • Encryption method getting the picture - Researchers have created a new way to encrypt information in a digital image and extract it later without any distortion or loss of information.  Its uses could range from sensitive military and medical diagnostic images to legal documents and photographs of crime scenes. The technique could also be used to encode information within the image itself for cataloging and retrieving from databases.
  • Feds investigating 'largest ever' Internet attack - US Federal authorities are investigating an attack on the internet that has been described as the "largest and most complex" in history. In a distributed denial of service attack that began 5pm US Eastern time Monday and lasted one hour, seven of the 13 servers at the top of the internet's domain name system hierarchy were rendered virtually inaccessible, sources told ComputerWire.

Damn, forgot to post this comment/question. Has anyone used the official Detonator drivers yet? I have and I can't really tell the difference between this official and the beta drivers 40. something. Seems like a very slight hiccup when playing in BF1942 MP, but could also be attibuted to general lag, server, or any other thing. But you never know. So far so good.
