- Freedom Force Patch 1.1 - Irrational Games has released a patch version 1.1
for their superheroes RPG Freedom Force. This release adds a new single-player skirmish
mode with three game types, along with numerous gameplay tweaks, bug fixes, scripting
improvements and other changes.
- Industry Giant 2 v1.1 (German) - JoWood has released a new German patch version
1.1 for Industry Giant 2. I have no idea what is new inside.
- NoLimits patch v1.25 - There is a new patch for NoLimits,
updating the registered version of this rollercoaster simulation by MadData to version
1.25. This release includes a new 'train style' but further details are not available.
- Quake III Point Release Soon - id Software programmer Robert Duffy
updated his .plan file with
a brief statement on when we can expect to see a new Quake III Arena point release: "
Just a quick note on future releases for Quake 3 Arena. We will be releasing a new point
release in the relatively near future which includes a handful of fixes and updates and
also includes full Punk Buster integration to combat cheating. No firm date on when this
will be out but it should not be too far off."
- Neverwinter Nights Commercial - Babel lights up Neverwinter Nights in this television
commercial that introduces the hit role-playing title, Neverwinter Nights.
- Darkwood Camps (NWN) - This mod is
meant to serve a similar function, except it attempts to capture the feel of a night-time
campfire in the woods.
- Freeport Necropolis (NWN) - This module
places you in the port-city of Freeport and will lead through necromancers and undead
cults, demons and mages, ruins and dungeons.
