| Comments from me | posted - 10:24 AM CEST - Apr,24 2002 | | Can i ask why you are destroying a great web site i look at every day with massively annoying pop up windows every time you try to do anything? Are you purposely trying to ruin the site? | |
| Comments from hx | posted - 11:35 AM CEST - Apr,24 2002 | | You are 100% right it's really horrible :( I hate these pop-ups too, but I cannot do much if we want survive and keep the site alive.
Slashdot.org has the same problem and they started new service for subscribers who don't want to see banners and pop-ups. But they must pay a bit. Do you think it would help also here? Would you pay a few bucks a year?
| Comments from me | posted - 05:39 PM CEST - Apr,24 2002 | | probably not mate....
but not many people would. i realise they must be doing it for the money, but surely they could use some script that makes it only pop up once. its not that difficult...
| Comments from hx | posted - 07:32 PM CEST - Apr,24 2002 | | Of course, we using such scripts too, you should see the pop-up only once a day | |
