  • Dual P4 [email protected] OC Results - This week we saw 2 entries from Holicho and Jahovx where they both overclocked their new P4 2.4Ghz to 4.1Ghz using a modified ASUS P4T-E board. We have gradually been seeing more people using ASUS P4T-E for added stability under very high clock speed environment and replacing ABIT TH7-II as the top RDRAM overclocking board for Pentium 4.
  • VIA P4PA-UL Review - VIA's recent introduction of their Platform Solutions Division, VPSD, was a move that had been in the planning stages for quite a long time. According to VIA, the purpose of VPSD is to help accelerate the rate at which the latest and greatest chipsets, along with other technologies can reach the market. VIA is well known for their "A" revision chipsets, all of which have brought incredible performance with them. One thing is for certain, VIA can make some high performance chipsets, but can they pump out some high performance motherboards too?
  • Rexxx's GameRoom MP3 Jukebox Project - While working on a MAME cabinet (which isn't yet finished, and I'll post here when it is),
inspiration struck. I could build an MP3 jukebox for my gameroom. Something that was as easy to control as an arcade game, and had all of the features I needed to simply play music.
  • ATI Radeon Driver Comparison (Updated) - The old 7.60 driver seemed to have a huge lead over the newer 7.67 and 7.68, but I do believe there is an explanation to this. If you take a look at the screenshots below, you can see that the AA in 7.60 is very poor, which would result in more frames since the complexity of the AA isn't particularly high! The AA in 7.67 and 7.68 are spot-on, and it is hard to tell the difference since the quality is just so good. Take a look for yourself...
