  • NVIDIA Interview with David B Kirk - VR-Zone has posted the interesting highlights from the interview with David B Kirk, the Chief Architect of NVIDIA. "NVIDIA is enthusiastic to to use new 0.13 micron process technology but right now it is still not matured yet but the next generation NVIDIA GPU NV30 is most likely to be 0.13 micron based and it will take place in the second half of this year."

  • Everglide Giganta/Mouse Skatez Review - After sticking the Skatez to the mouse I immediately had to test out the setup and hopped into a quick game of Wolfenstein. The mouse glided across the Giganta absolutely smoothly. There was none of the sticking that had occurred before. I even tried just the Mouse Skatez on my desk and, while absolutely being smoother, it wasn't as good as the Giganta/Skatez combo
  • eVGA e-GeForce4 MX440 Review - For the avid gamer you will want a card that performs like no other, solid when gaming and gives you bragging rights because your FPS is better than anyon else's. For the regualar user that games very little, but surfs the internet like a champion you will want a video card that has some of the new technologies, but still cheap enough that you won't worry when it goes to crap.
  • Inno3D GeForce4 MX 440 Review - The Inno3D Tornado GeForce4 MX 440 is angled as a value gamer card. But I found the performance and overall use to be crisp, clean and very impressive. Being an MX card I did not have high hopes in way of performance or feature set.

  • Iomega 40x12x40x CD-Writer Review - One thing we always like about this drive is the consistency in ripping digital audio. We can do the above test another 10 times and it will give the same ripping speed (+-0.5x) . Our experience with other drives didn't show the same in this test, you can do the test 10 times, and 2 or 3 times out of that you get a speed that is slower than the rest. It is this consistency that make Plextor's drive well known for its audio recording capability. And it is nice to know that this Iomega drive has the same traits except at a much lower price
  • AOpen AK77-333 Review - This board (KT333CE chipset) sports a sleek black PCB with a silver chipset cooler and support nice features such as ATA133, Realtek 6 Channel Audio, USB 2.0 and up to 8 USB ports! • Abit NV7-133R (nForce 515) Motherboard Review - Unfortunately, the BIOS is not up-to-par with the hardware features. In fact, we were quite shocked to see the lack of features in the BIOS- especially considering that it's an Abit board. There are only two options for tweaking the memory: CAS Latency and DRAM Command Rate (which is referred to Memory Timings). Quite disappointing.
  • LED Light Roundup  - My latest LED light roundup is actually more relevant to tweaky PC users than usual, though, because I've checked out a few Lumileds Luxeon Star lamps, plus a couple of flashlights that use these new ultra-powerful LEDs. The coloured Luxeon lamps are getting the attention of case modders looking for more PC-illumination punch than any ten normal LEDs can deliver, and they work well in flashlights, too.
  • CPU/RAM Price List - Okay, the 256MB PC2100 DDR SDRAM went down by almost $30.00 - This MIGHT BE A MISTAKE, so if you want to get in on this price, order some now! As for the CPU's, who cares! Here's your chance to get some cheap DDR RAM! Heh, actually CPU's dropped quite nicely this week all around, but nothing really big.
