Ace of Angels Interview - interview

HomeLAN chats with Rock’s Bryan G. Stephens as he talks about their upcoming massively multiplayer space combat sim Ace of Angels. Here is a snip:
HomeLAN: How is combat handled in Ace of Angels?
Bryan G. Stephens: At its core, Ace of Angels is a space fighter sim that stresses team combat. Combat is based on the skill of the player. While players can upgrade their fighters with various technical tweaks and techno systems, a good pilot - even in an older fighter - can prove the match of a poor pilot in an expensive hot rod. We don’t believe in leveling or buying your way to the top in a tricked out super unit.
Players of Ace of Angels experience the fastest space sim combat out there, using a real space flight engine. In addition to the Virtual HUD outlined above, players have access to shield cracking guns and missiles for other fighters, as well as the powerful torpedoes for use against capital ships that can be over a mile long.
