- IE bug allows full MSN Messenger hijack - Among the fun and
games one can have with a vulnerable Messenger user are such sports as impersonating the
victim and sending spoof messages and spoof e-mail memos to his contacts, and scouring his
local drive for interesting files to share around. In other words, you can do anything
with the victim's Messenger client that the owner can do. A demonstration has been set up here. They promised a patch
soon, so check the MSN
Messenger site from time to time.

| Comments from ViriiK | posted - 04:51 AM CET - Feb,10 2002 | | Even if Windows XP is ripped off OSX 9.0 What can Apple do about it? Microsoft owns part of their company. What are they going to do? Sue MS for money that will go back to them? | |
| Comments from Buffy | posted - 10:08 AM CET - Feb,10 2002 | | It's quite cheap to say something is a ripoff because they used a little duck too, these Apple-guys are jealous farts no more no less, Oh BTW, the whole OS/* thing is a Windows 3.1 ripoff if I remember correctly....
