  • So What's This .NET Thing? - What is Microsoft .NET? To oversimplify, .NET for IT includes services, development tools and systems, and servers. Clients are part of it too where there is direct user interaction. The remainder of this note describes .NET and how it might touch IT. But PC Gamer noted that the GeForce 4 is mainly a speed, not a process upgrade for gamers.

  • Overclocking the XP1600+ - The XP1600 coupled with a good motherboard such as the Asus A7V266-E, results in a very 'overclockable' sub-system. Im almost 100% positive that the FSB overclocking experiment was not fulfilled by the CPU reaching it's maximum, but by the other components such as the RAM or AGP card reaching theirs. If I had the resources, the patience and the confidence to successfully unlock the multiplier then without a doubt I could of obtained a much higher CPU speed in conjunction with raising the voltage level.
