EuroGamer takes a quick hands-on look at Wreckless, an oriental mission-based driving game
for the Xbox which is due out early next year in Europe and America through Activision.

- Fahrenheit for Xbox - Quantic Dream Founder David Cage has confirmed to FGN Online
that the recently unveiled title, Fahrenheit, is in development for Xbox.
- Xbox Easter Egg Revealed - I missed this one, but anyway team.xbox have uncovered
one of the Xbox's special Easter Eggs.
- Hardware Behind the Consoles - Part I: Microsoft's Xbox - In
this first
article AnandTech have a look at Microsoft's Xbox and the underlying hardware
that powers the software giant's first entry into the console gaming market.
- Blade 2 Announced[(PS2/Xbox)- I wrote it yesterday, but for
those who missed it, Activision has announced Blade 2 for the Playstation 2 and XBox.
Development of the game is being handled by Brit outfit Mucky Foot, who are resposible for
the recent space-station sim on the PC, Startopia. Blade 2 is due for release in 2002.
- Tekken 4 release by March 2002 in Japan (PS2) - Namco plans
to release Tekken 4 for the PS2 by March 2002 in Japan
- Final Fantasy XI website launched - Square launches its official
Final Fantasy XI Web site in
Japan. Final Fantasy XI is scheduled for release on the PlayStation 2 and the PC sometime
in spring 2002 in Japan. No release information has been disclosed for the rest of the
markets.
- NFL 2K2 Review (PS2) - pc.ign has written a review of Sega's NFL 2K2
for the Playstion 2.
- Wave Race Review (GC) - GameSpy has posted a review of
Wave Race: Blue Storm is the second first-party launch title from Nintendo for the newly
released GameCube.
- Melee Media Madness (GC) - cube.ign has posted over 10
direct-feed Super Smash Bros. Melee movies and 30 screens.
- GameCube Controller Guide - CoreMagazine have examined the
handful of first- and third-party GameCube controllers.
- The GameCube Sell Out - Marking its biggest home console launch,
Nintendo has sold all of
its initial 700,000 GameCubes.
