- Gore Server Beta v.1.30 - The new server build fixes a lockup
problem and puts things at v1.30 now.
- Takeda Demo - Takeda is a large
scale war/strategy game set in Feudal Japan. The game is being developed by Magitech
Corporation and will be published by Xicat later this month.
- Woody Woodpecker: Escape from Buzz Buzzard Park Demo - In this hilarious
cartoon game, the bird with the famous laugh is up against his arch nemesis - Buzz
Buzzard, who has kidnapped Woody's Neice and Nephew and is keeping them hostage at his
theme park. It is up to the smooth talking and crafty Woody to find and rescue his kin,
and, equally as important, his TV remote control that Buzz took with him too.
- MAX PAYNE 2 DELAYED BY CONSOLES - Woohoo! :) According to CVG, "Max Payne 2 is as certain as eggs are eggs. As soon as we
know more, so will you."
- The Sims: Hot Date Goes Gold - Electronic Arts has announced
that the latest Sims expansion pack, Hot Date, has gone gold! (thanks HomeLAN)
- ClusterBall Goes Gold - Strategy First announced that their
online fantasy sports game ClusterBall has gone gold today and is scheduled for a November
13th release.
- F1 2001 Driving Guide - F1 pilots at F1 Gamers have posted F1 2001 Driving Guide.
- AquaNox German Patch - Massive Development has released a new
patch (5MB) for AquaNox, updating the German edition of the just-released 3D
underwater shooter to version 1.11.
