ROG Xbox Ally X20 Gets OLED Screen and Premium Upgrades - console|
| (hx) 10:41 AM CET - Nov,08 2026 | YouTuber JayzTwoCents reviewed the ROG Xbox Ally X20, a special-edition handheld PC from ASUS. The device features a 7.4-inch 1080p OLED display that supports HDR, 120Hz, and VRR. It keeps the AMD Z2 Extreme chip and 24GB of RAM from the regular Ally X while adding an 80Wh battery.
Notable upgrades include tighter TMR thumbsticks, rubberized grips, and a rotatable D-pad that can switch profiles. The body uses translucent gray plastic with gold accents and color-matched internals.
JayzTwoCents says the build quality and attention to detail make it feel more premium than the base model. Battery life exceeds two hours at 25W TDP, according to the reviewer’s testing.
ASUS priced the unit at $1299, compared with $999 for the standard Ally X. The video treats the higher price as the main trade-off for the OLED screen and refined design.
No major internal performance changes were claimed beyond the display and controls.
