Leaked PS6 Specs Claim 10x Ray Tracing Over PS5 - console|
| (hx) 01:53 PM CET - Nov,01 2026 | Hardware leaks circulating online describe detailed specifications for Sony's next PlayStation, codenamed Orion. The console is said to use a monolithic AMD chip with Zen 6 CPU cores and RDNA 5 graphics.
Reports claim ray-tracing performance could reach roughly 8–12 times that of the base PS5, with some sources comparing it to desktop RTX 5090 levels in limited ray-tracing cases. Standard raster performance is listed at about 2-2.5 times the original PS5. The leaks also mention high-speed GDDR7 memory and PCIe 5.0 support. Sony has not confirmed any of these details. A global launch window near late 2027 continues to appear in the reports.
