Minecraft Creator Lists $70M Beverly Hills Mansion for Sale - briefly|
| (hx) 01:20 PM CET - Oct,29 2026 | Minecraft creator Markus 'Notch' Persson has put his Beverly Hills mansion on the market for $70 million. That is the same price he paid for the home in 2014 after outbidding Jay-Z and Beyoncé.
The large estate has eight bedrooms, a private nightclub, and a recording studio. His real estate agent says Persson no longer spends much time in Los Angeles. He is Swedish and mainly lives in Stockholm.
The sale comes as California voters prepare to decide on a proposed one-time 5% wealth tax for billionaires. The tax would apply to those who were state residents at the start of 2026. Persson’s agent has not linked the listing to the tax proposal.

And a nightclub? Dafuq would I need with a nightclub?
I'd like a decent sized house but this kind of "ooh look at how rich I am" nonsense is just nonsense. |
