GTA 6 Hits 210 GB Download Size as Sony Phases Out Physical Games - briefly|

Grand Theft Auto VI has a reported 210 GB download size on PlayStation 5, according to PlayStation Store data. Pre-loading starts November 12, with the game launching at midnight on November 19, 2026.
The massive file size comes from the game’s dense open world and detailed content. Players will need to free up significant storage space before the release.
Sony is ending production of physical discs for new PlayStation games starting January 2028. After that date, new titles will be digital-only, though existing games can still be reordered on disc.
The company has also wound down recordable Blu-ray media and standalone players as consumer preference shifts to digital. The GTA 6 size highlights the growing storage demands of modern games amid the move away from physical media. |

5 pretty much killed it off for me after such a short main story and I didn’t even bother with the free enhanced version. When I seen the pedantic fascination with ‘flames’, ‘smoke trails’… whatever. Adds zero to the story.
I have -quick think- about 5 or 6 games that are over 200GB, with DLC content |
