Bayonetta 2 Unofficial PC Port - briefly|
| (hx) 04:53 PM CEST - Oct,22 2026 | An unofficial PC port of Bayonetta 2 is now available, letting players run the Nintendo Switch version natively on Windows instead of through an emulator.
Developer K0NL released B2recomp, a static recompilation project that translates the game’s AArch64 code into C on your own computer from a legally dumped copy of the Switch version. The port uses Vulkan for graphics, removes the usual CPU emulation overhead, and includes a launcher with options for 1080p, 1440p, and 4K, windowed or fullscreen modes, and ultrawide support. Early tests show the title screen, prologue, and parts of Chapter 1 running at a locked 60 FPS, with an experimental 120 FPS mode also available. The project supports community mods and requires only your own extracted game files (version 1.2) plus a Vulkan 1.3 GPU. No game assets, keys, or Nintendo code are included in the download. The full source and builder package are on GitHub, and the port is still early, so later chapters may have bugs.
