Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.5 Adds Dual-Wielding and Edgerunners II Content - briefly|
| (hx) 01:32 AM CEST - Oct,22 2026 | CD Projekt Red is releasing a free update for Cyberpunk 2077 called version 2.5, or the Edgerunners II update, on October 22.
It launches the same day on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles, with the Nintendo Switch 2 version following shortly after. The update adds a new side quest called Clampdown, set before the events of the Edgerunners II anime, plus a five-piece gear set based on the character King.
Players can also unlock dual-wielding for pistols and revolvers through a new Cool skill tree perk called Double Trouble. Other additions include cyberware color customization at special shops, a new radio station with Edgerunners tracks, fresh clothing sets, and cross-platform mod support through mod.io on most platforms.
Quality-of-life improvements such as a field-of-view slider on consoles and updated graphics features like DLSS 4.5 are included as well. The update is free for all owners of the game.
