Tesla Roadster Opens Reservations With Flying Rocket Version - briefly|
| (hx) 10:35 AM CEST - Oct,16 2026 | Tesla has reopened reservations for its next-generation Roadster after an October 15 reveal event in Texas. The company is offering three versions: Performance, Thrust, and Rocket.
The Performance model is road-ready, seats two, and includes active aero plus a multi-mode suction system. The Thrust version adds cold-gas acceleration thrusters and is aimed at 0-60 mph in under one second. The top Rocket version is invite-only, seats one, and adds a full flight system using thrusters.
Reservations for the Performance model require a $5,000 refundable payment today, followed by $45,000 within 10 days. Tesla demonstrated the car driving upside down and performing short flights during the event. Production is expected in 2028.
