Fortnite Is Coming to Linux with New Anti-Cheat - briefly|
| (hx) 06:30 PM CEST - Oct,14 2026 | | Epic Games is rebuilding Easy Anti-Cheat so Fortnite can run on Linux. The company is creating EAC Linux v2 to bring anti-cheat protection much closer to the level used on Windows. Fortnite will be the first game to test the new system. Players will need Secure Boot, TPM 2.0, and a kernel signed by a trusted Linux distribution. Once EAC Linux v2 is validated, other multiplayer games will also be able to use it on Linux. |
