NVIDIA RTX 5080 24GB Reportedly Launching in Early 2027 - tech|
| (hx) 11:08 PM CEST - Oct,12 2026 | NVIDIA is reportedly preparing a GeForce RTX 5080 with 24GB of GDDR7 memory for release in the first quarter of 2027.
According to VideoCardz and Taiwanese outlet BenchLife, the card would replace the current 16GB RTX 5080 rather than sell alongside it. Board partners have only received verbal notice so far and are still waiting for full development details.
The report builds on earlier claims that NVIDIA may shift RTX 5090 production toward professional cards. The 24GB version would offer 50 percent more memory, likely using 3GB GDDR7 modules.
NVIDIA has not officially confirmed any of these plans. Buyers should treat the information as a rumor until official details appear. |
