 Leaker Says RTX 5090 Production Is Ending - tech

Japanese site GAZLOG reported on 10 October 2026 that the GeForce RTX 5090 is heading for the end of production. The claim comes from leaker hongxing2020, who posted a factory notice saying NVIDIA will stop selling all RTX 5090 models, including the China-only D version. The same note says an RTX 5080 with 24GB will become the top GeForce card, and the 16GB 5080 will also stop. A second leaker, MEGAsizeGPU, separately said future GB202 chips will go to RTX PRO cards instead of the 5090.

NVIDIA has not confirmed any of this. VideoCardz treats it as a report, not a statement. In Japan, GAZLOG said remaining 5090 stock was already selling around 1.2 million yen. It estimated a 24GB 5080 near 350,000 yen. That price is a guess. Treat the whole story as unconfirmed until NVIDIA or a board partner says it.
