Leaked Memo Prices Used PS5 Pro Above New - console|
| (hx) 09:00 AM CEST - Oct,06 2026 | A leaked GameStop memo says used PlayStation 5 Pro consoles will cost more than new ones, and that the gap is intentional.
Nintendeal posted the note on October 5. It lists a used digital PS5 Pro at $1,399.99 and disc or special editions at $1,499.99. Trade-in values on the same sheet are $800 and $850. It tells stores to finish the change before open on October 16.
GameStop has not confirmed the memo. The line calling October 16 “tomorrow” does not match an October 5 post, so this is a leak, not a live price. Sony’s US price for a new disc-less PS5 Pro is $899.99 after an April increase. If the sheet is real, a used Pro would cost hundreds more than a new one at list price. |
