NvramEditor v1.3.0 - Free BIOS Tool Promises One-Click FPS - tech
(hx) 07:54 PM CEST - Oct,04 2026
A hobby developer released NvramEditor v1.3.0 on 3 October 2026 and says one click can tune hidden BIOS settings for lower latency and higher FPS. The post is from @ogclarv. The only download link is a Discord invite, not a public site or GitHub repo.

The screenshot shows a Windows app named NvramEditor v1.3.0, with Import, Save, Compare, and Optimize. The open file is an Intel dump, nvram_ddr4INTEL_12400F.txt, with 6 modified sections out of 4,846 setup questions. That matches a SCEWIN-style NVRAM editor for AMI BIOS variables, not a normal BIOS menu.

The FPS and latency gains are the author’s claim. No benchmark is in the post. Auto-detect for Intel and AMD is also unverified beyond that Intel screenshot.

One reply said “virus detected.” The author said the file is clean and posted a VirusTotal link, but the scan result was not independently confirmed. Bad NVRAM writes can stop a PC from booting. A CMOS reset is the usual recovery.
