Call of Duty Hides Enemy Data to Starve Wallhacks - briefly
(hx) 10:08 PM CEST - Oct,02 2026
Call of Duty is adding a system called Server Culling to stop wallhacks in Modern Warfare 4.

The official video, posted October 2, says a wall will do more than block your view. If you should not be able to see an opponent, the server will not send that player’s location to your machine. Cheat software cannot show data it never gets.

The feature covers every Modern Warfare 4 launch map, including DMZ and Combat Outpost. New multiplayer, DMZ, and Warzone maps get it from Season 1 on. Call of Duty says it runs on the server, so it covers PC and console.

Normal players are not supposed to see a change. The studio says it expects the cheat market to take a hit, and that other anti-cheat layers stay in place. It did not claim wallhacks are gone for good.
