Pascal Cards Get an Unofficial Windows XP Driver - tech|
| (hx) 07:09 PM CEST - Oct,02 2026 | A GitHub project called Forceware 382.69 adds GeForce 10-series cards to a Windows XP driver that NVIDIA never shipped for them.
SupraGSX released it on September 27. It is a modified 32-bit build of NVIDIA’s old 368.81 XP driver. The file list covers desktop Pascal cards from the GTX 1050 to the GTX 1080 Ti, plus Titan X and Titan Xp. Mobile cards and GP108 are left out.
The author says those are driver-list additions, not a test of every card. A screenshot shared on X shows GPU-Z naming a GTX 1080 on Windows XP with driver 382.69. That is identification, not a game benchmark.
NVIDIA dropped Windows XP driver support years ago. This build is unofficial. A post called it vibe-coded. The project page does not say that. |
