Witcher 3 Remaster Wants 24GB RAM - briefly|
| (hx) 07:17 PM CEST - Sep,28 2026 | CD Projekt Red has published the full PC system requirements for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered, a free upgrade that launches on September 29. Minimum settings target 1080p at 30 FPS with a Core i5-8400 or Ryzen 5 2600, a GTX 1660 or RX 5500 XT, 12GB of RAM, a 60GB SSD, and Windows 11.
Recommended 1080p/60 play needs an i7-8700K or Ryzen 5 3600X, an RTX 2060 Super or RX 6600 XT, and 16GB of RAM. Ultra at 1440p/60 and ray-traced Ultra both list 24GB of RAM, while path tracing at 4K/60 with frame generation asks for an RTX 5080 plus a Core i9-13900K or Ryzen 7 9800X3D.
CD Projekt Red says a GTX 1660 can still pass 60 FPS at minimum settings, and that Windows 10 is no longer officially supported even if the game may still run. |
