Opus 5.5 Builds a Multiplayer Lawn Sim - briefly|
| (hx) 10:38 PM CEST - Sep,23 2026 | Developer Max Blade used Anthropic’s newly released Claude Opus 5.5 to vibe-code a browser multiplayer game called The Duke’s Lawn, then hosted it so his livestream chat could jump in. The clip shows players on vintage mowers cutting a country estate while holding beers and cigars, with a live “Great Lawn restored” meter and name tags over other riders.
He built the session inside CNVS, his macOS app for running coding agents on one canvas, and posted a desktop-only play link at cnvs.dev/opusmo. Anthropic launched Opus 5.5 on September 22 and markets it as a cheaper coding model in the new Claude 5.5 family.
A YouTube recap says the lawn sim was one of several same-day prompts, including a Walmart sim and a dog trainer, after a seven-hour stream. The playable page is a real hosted demo, not a concept reel, though it is a one-off vibe-coded prototype rather than a shipped commercial title.
