Fans Building XDefiant Servers - Not Playable Yet - briefly|
| (hx) 10:09 PM CEST - Sep,14 2026 | Ubisoft shut XDefiant down for good on 3 June 2025 after sunsetting new downloads in December 2024. A fan group calling itself the Rogue revival team posted on Reddit on 13 September 2026 that it has spent months reverse-engineering the game’s network protocols for a private server.
The team itself says this is unofficial, that gameplay is not possible yet, and that there is no ETA. Players would need a copy they already owned; the project says it will not share Ubisoft game files. This is not a company revival.
