StarCraft Returns in 2030 as Shooter - briefly|
| (hx) 10:43 PM CEST - Sep,12 2026 | Blizzard revealed a new game simply called STARCRAFT at BlizzCon 2026 on September 12.
It is a story-driven open-world shooter aimed at 2030, not a StarCraft II sequel.
The official account posted the Dominion trailer with the line “Defend mankind. Join the Dominion.”
Creative director Dan Hay, formerly of Far Cry, said the camera drops to the ground: you are the unit, not the commander.
