Mod Brings DLSS Frame Gen to RTX 20 Cards - tech|

A community mod now runs NVIDIA’s own DLSS Frame Generation on GeForce RTX 20-series cards, which NVIDIA does not officially support.
Modder Coldwood1026 published dlssg_sm75 on September 9 after testing it on an RTX 2060 Max-Q in The Witcher 3’s next-gen DirectX 12 build.
The project uses NVIDIA’s stock nvngx_dlssg 310.1 runtime with kernels rebuilt for Turing’s SM75 architecture.
NVIDIA still limits official Frame Generation to RTX 40-series and newer.
Early testers say 2X mode can work, while 3X can ghost and 4X is unreliable.
The unofficial tool is not an NVIDIA update, and results vary by game.
