12TB Steam2 Dump Hits Old Valve Builds - briefly

A roughly 12TB archive from Steam’s old Steam2 delivery system is circulating, with files dated about 2003 to 2013.

Researchers say it is thousands of depots, not one Valve folder: early Portal 2, Left 4 Dead, CS:GO still close to Source, and F-Stop assets.

Gabe Follower and others say the files came from a public old endpoint, not a fresh hack.

A Weaponizer model tied to Half-Life 2: Episode Three has been flagged. No playable Episode Three build is confirmed.

Third-party Steam-era betas, including Sonic 4 Episode II and New Vegas-linked files, are in the same pile.

Valve has not issued a statement.

Someone leaked 12 TB of Valve's internal builds and game assets from 2003 to 2013. This includes early versions of Portal 2, Left 4 Dead, CS:GO, F-Stop and potentially EP3.
