Modder Pipes Leaked DLSS 5 Into Half-Life 2 - mod&map|
| (hx) 11:00 AM CEST - Aug,30 2026 | A clip posted by Flávio Pontes shows Half-Life 2 running with NVIDIA’s unreleased DLSS 5 Neural Rendering. This mod is not an official update from Valve.
The stack is a ReShade add-on that pulls DX9 buffers, a helper that runs the leaked DX12 neural renderer, then sends the frame back.
That renderer leaked from an NBA 2K27 early build. NVIDIA’s own DLSS 5 is still slated for fall 2026 on RTX 50 cards.
Official Half-Life 2 RTX Remix uses path tracing, Neural Radiance Cache, and DLSS 4 — a different pipeline.
