OpenTS Rebuilds Tiberian Sun for Modern PCs - briefly|
| (hx) 08:10 PM CEST - Aug,29 2026 | | OpenTS 0.1.0 is a community rebuild of Westwood’s Tiberian Sun engine, released August 27.
It is not an EA remaster and does not ship the original game files.
You drop Game.exe into a Tiberian Sun install from Command & Conquer The Ultimate Collection.
GDI, Nod, and Firestorm campaigns, skirmish, and saves have been play-tested; LAN works with lighter testing.
The new renderer supports up to 4K and ultrawide instead of the old DirectDraw path.
Source and docs live on GitHub; the project is unaffiliated with Electronic Arts.
