Hugging Face Unveils $399 Microduck - briefly|

Hugging Face CEO Clement Delangue said the company is launching Microduck, a 25 cm open-source biped priced at $399 before tax and shipping.
Pollen Robotics, Hugging Face’s Bordeaux robotics team, lists it as a pre-order from August 27, 2026, with first deliveries targeted before Christmas 2026.
The product page says the 15-motor robot can walk, sit and stand, grab with its beak, roller-skate, and get back up after a fall.
The SDK, simulator, and reinforcement-learning stack are published on GitHub under Apache-2.0.
It ships with seven trained moves, a camera, LiDAR, two IMUs, and a gamepad.
North America and Europe are the launch markets; four colorways are Cream, Graphite, Lavender, and Sky.
