Chinese video platform Bilibili, often called China’s YouTube, is expanding internationally with 376 million monthly active users.
The company has removed identity verification requirements for overseas sign-ups on its relaunched international app.
Bilibili is hiring community managers in six cities, including Los Angeles, London, and Tokyo.
An English-language website and improved global app experience are described as “coming soon.”
The platform aims to attract Western creators while offering the same content available in China.
The move marks one of the clearest steps yet by Bilibili to compete more directly with YouTube outside its home market.
