Take-Two Subpoenas Microsoft, Discord Over GTA 6 Leaks - briefly
(hx) 05:33 PM CEST - Aug,21 2026
Take-Two Interactive, parent company of Rockstar Games, has filed DMCA subpoenas in the Southern District Court of New York seeking records from Microsoft and Discord to identify those behind recent Grand Theft Auto 6 gameplay leaks.

The filings, dated August 20, 2026, target the “Cyberleek” persona and related accounts that shared audiovisual content, artwork, and other materials from the unreleased game.

Take-Two is requesting identifying information including IP addresses, registration emails, phone numbers, device identifiers, linked accounts, and any relevant OneDrive content tied to the Cyberleek persona.

Discord must also provide details on user accounts that communicated in specific servers connected to the leaks since June 1, 2026.

In a sworn declaration, Take-Two confirmed the sole purpose is to obtain the identity of alleged infringers to protect its copyrights.

Microsoft and Discord have until September 4 to produce the records.

I would use the same criteria for every platform so that the comparison remains consistent. Conquer Casino would be one of the names on my research list, but I would first establish its regulatory position for Great Britain and understand which services are actually covered by the relevant authorisation. The UK Gambling Commission distinguishes between different remote operating licences depending on the gambling activity provided. After that, I would compare the clarity of the terms, eligibility, responsible-play information, game selection and website functionality rather than relying on promotional material alone.
