Popular Call of Duty news account @charlieINTEL marked the start of the Modern Warfare 4 Early Access Beta on August 21, 2026, by posting a large batch of redeemable beta codes.

Official sources confirm the Early Access Beta launched at 11:00 AM PT that day for pre-order players and code holders on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, running through August 25.

A free Open Beta for all players follows from August 28 to September 1.
