Seasonic has become the first manufacturer to achieve the new top-tier 80 PLUS Ruby certification for an ATX power supply tested at 115 V.
The PRIME ENTERPRISE RX-1600 (1600W) meets the strictest efficiency requirements ever set for consumer and workstation PSUs.
Ruby demands 85% efficiency at 5% load, 91% at 10%, 93% at 20%, 95% at 50%, and 91% at full load — surpassing the previous Titanium standard.
The unit is designed for high-power desktop, workstation, and AI systems.
Seasonic announced the milestone on August 18, 2026.
This marks a historic first, as Ruby was previously limited mainly to data-center power supplies. |
