Cooler Master Launches $50 GPU Melting Protection - tech

Cooler Master has released a standalone 12V-2×6 GPU Shield adapter in China priced at around $50.

The device sits between the power supply and graphics card, monitoring current on the 16-pin connector.

It provides LED and sound alerts for abnormal conditions and can automatically cut power to prevent melting.

The product comes with a 3-year warranty that includes full compensation if the connector melts under covered conditions.

It is currently available only in China and has already sold out on Cooler Master’s official store.
