Steam Refunds Battlefield 6 Player After 470 Hours - briefly|
| (hx) 10:33 PM CEST - Aug,09 2026 |
A Battlefield 6 player claims Steam issued a full refund for the Phantom Edition despite nearly 470 hours of playtime.
The player cited the quiet removal of several popular modes, including Rush, King of the Hill, and Squad Deathmatch, as the reason.
According to the player, Steam support agreed the removals were not acceptable and processed the refund for the launch-day purchase.
The case has drawn attention because it far exceeds Steam’s usual refund window of 14 days and under two hours of play.

You buy a game, you keep it. If they start ripping things out, you should be entitled.
Steam knows this and it's cheaper than the lengthy legal procedure they would most certainly lose. | |
