 AMD Struggles in Gears of War E-Day Beta - briefly

GameGPU tested the Gears of War E-Day multiplayer beta at native 2K resolution and found no AMD Radeon card delivered playable frame rates.

The flagship Radeon RX 7900 XTX averaged just 21 FPS, while the newer RX 9070 XT managed only 22 FPS.

Even the NVIDIA RTX 4080 clearly outperformed all tested AMD models.

According to the results, AMD users need FSR upscaling to reach smooth performance at 2560x1440.

The beta is still unoptimized, and final release performance may improve.
