Witcher Season 5 Delayed to 2027 - briefly|

Netflix has pushed the final season of The Witcher from 2026 into 2027, according to reports from What’s on Netflix.
Filming on Season 5 wrapped in September 2025 after it was shot back-to-back with Season 4, but the streamer now needs extra time for visual effects and post-production.
Liam Hemsworth will return as Geralt of Rivia for the last time, continuing the role he took over from Henry Cavill in Season 4.
The fifth season is confirmed as the series finale and will bring the stories of Geralt, Ciri and Yennefer to a close.
No exact release window for 2027 has been announced yet.
The delay comes after Season 4 received mixed reactions following the recast.
