FF7 Remake Director Wants Physical Games to Continue - console

FF7 Remake Trilogy director Naoki Hamaguchi isn't a fan of Sony's decision to stop supporting physical PS5 discs. Speaking at FF14 Fan Fest, Hamaguchi said it would be, quote, "a real shame for that culture to disappear," referring to physical media in games. He also said he's pushed for a physical release of the upcoming Final Fantasy 7: Revelations, but Square Enix has not made a final decision yet.
