Bent RTX 5060 Ti Still Works After Car Crash - tech

A GeForce RTX 5060 Ti was severely bent after the car it was stored in was rear-ended. The cooler and backplate were folded almost in half, while the PCB suffered only a slight bend.

Technicians carefully straightened the card and replaced a damaged memory chip near the worst section. After the repair, the graphics card successfully booted, installed drivers, and passed stress tests.

It was recognized as an 8GB RTX 5060 Ti and ran with stable temperatures.

The original cooler was too damaged to reuse and will need to be replaced.
