RTX 50-Series Cards Jump in Price in China - tech

Board partners MSI and Colorful have raised distributor prices for NVIDIA’s RTX 50-series graphics cards in China.

Some MSI models, including the RTX 5080, increased by up to 20 percent.

Certain Colorful cards now sit as much as 59 percent above NVIDIA’s original MSRP.

The RTX 5070 Ti is particularly affected, with some models starting 38 percent over MSRP.

The price hikes are linked to rising costs of GDDR7 memory and higher GPU kit prices from NVIDIA.

Similar increases may follow in other markets as memory shortages continue.
