Xbox online services suffered a major outage on July 27, 2026, leaving thousands of players unable to sign in, view their game libraries, or launch titles.
Microsoft officially confirmed the problem, with Xbox Support stating that engineers are actively working to fix issues affecting sign-ins, game libraries, and game launches.
The Xbox Status page currently shows major outages for Account & Profile, Store & Subscriptions, and Apps & Mobile services.
Many users reported being blocked from starting even single-player games because of failed license verification checks.
