Final Fantasy XIV: Evercold expansion extended teaser trailer - movie

Square Enix released a five-minute extended teaser trailer and new details for Final Fantasy XIV: Evercold, the patch 8.0 expansion for Final Fantasy XIV due out in January 2027, as well as announced that the Switch 2 version of Final Fantasy XIV will launch on August 4.

Pre-orders for the Switch 2 version are available now. As previously announced, the Switch 2 version will require a separate monthly subscription from the other versions, but will not require a Nintendo Switch Online subscription. Users already subscribed on other platforms can receive a 50 percent discount on the Switch 2 version’s subscription fee.
